I Hate Politics
I think it's infuriating how the Republicans (and certain news media personalities) are describing the Karl Rove "incident" as yet another Democratic "smear campaign" to discredit the integrity (wait - what integrity?) of the Bush administration. While the White House has said explicitly denied Rove's role in the disclosure of Valerie Plame's identity, neither Bush nor Rove have offered any comment on these allegations. Whether he's the culprit or not, this act [of disclosing a CIA operative's identity] is a criminal offense, and with war going on, this is also a serious breach of national security. Yet, according to the growing ranks of Republicans coming to Rove's side, this is just yet another Democratic "smear campaign."

Doooood! I feel ya on the politics thang. What scares me about the Republicans doing this is that they have done this type of "distraction tactic" before and I wouldn't be surprised if they did this again. However, knowing how corrupt and money/power hungry the Bush administration is, I wouldn't be surprised if they ditched Karl Rove and just protected themselves.
I don't know what you think about "conspiracy theory" stuff, but I just read and saw a bunch of stuff on how the 9-11 attacks were actually created, caused and put on by the Bush administration and the pentagon. Here's the link and there's a video of a C-SPAN interview that is long, but definitely worth watching sometime: Here Did you know that 10's of millions of dollars in stock were sold a few weeks before the attacks, and guess which stock was sold??? United and American Airlines!!! Fucking lame ass country we live in.
